Mrs S. Swift

Headteacher

Welcome to our Nicol Mere website: I hope it will give you a sense of our wonderful school.

Nicol Mere is a happy and vibrant school where children come first. We have a highly motivated and committed team of staff and governors who ensure that every child is nurtured and supported on their very own aspirational learning journey.

We have built and teach an engaging, broad and balanced curriculum with exciting learning experiences and opportunities that stimulate and deepen our children’s understanding. We intend to prepare our children socially, spiritually and academically, so that when they leave us, they have a lifelong love of learning, are prepared for the next step in their learning journey and take our School Values into the wider world.

We work in partnership with parents/carers and the wider community to ensure the success of our children. Working together in our Nicol Mere family, we can ensure that all children are safe, happy and successful at school.

We welcome all children into our Nicol Mere Family, including children from all nurseries and child minders.

Please contact Mrs Swift if you would like to come and see our school.

Our Vision...

We aim to provide a safe and happy learning environment with a welcoming atmosphere that creates a sense of belonging for our Nicol Mere family.

We believe that education should take place in a fully inclusive environment with equal opportunities where all children will learn tolerance and respect. Our school strives to be at the centre of the local community. We want to open doors for all our children whether they be academic, music, art or sport; there are many pathways we want to encourage our children to walk down.  Every child will be taught to the highest levels of academic standards, to enable them to reach and expand their potential, and to prepare them in every way for their own learning journey.

Learning is the passport to life ... enjoy!

Here, at Nicol Mere School, we installed watercoolers from AquAid.

In so doing, we have become the proud sponsors of an Elephant Pump in Africa.
